Your presence not only endangers your safety, but also the safety of first responders tasked with preserving life and property.
We have received countless calls from community members asking how to help the situation surrounding the Eagle Creek Fire. As this is a dynamic situation, we are working to assess the needs of the community. We will release specific information as to how community members can assist and actions you can take as they become available.
If you feel an immediate need to assist, please consider donating to the American Red Cross/Red Cross Cascades Region who is managing the evacuation shelter at Mt. Hood Community College.
Please do not deliver any supplies to the Sheriff's Office, or any other first responder staging location at this time.
