Multnomah County, OR -- The Multnomah County Grand Jury has issued its annual Corrections Grand Jury Report. Oregon Revised Statute requires a yearly review and assessment of the conditions and management of every correctional facility within Oregon. Within Multnomah County, four facilities were included; two of which, the Multnomah County Detention Center, and the Inverness Jail, are managed by the Multnomah County Sheriff's Office (MCSO).
The Corrections Grand Jury, convened by the Multnomah County District Attorney's Office, consisted of seven jurors who spent several weeks inspecting facilities and taking testimony from staff and members of the public regarding the operation of jail facilities.
